Cambridge Chinese Choral Society (CCCS) was founded in 1992 by a group of students and professionals who shared an interest in choral music, and over the years has grown to be a well-respected community amateur choir.
Our mission is to promote the sharing of cultures in the community through the study and performance of choral music. We see our concerts as important venues to introduce Chinese and Taiwanese music to the Greater Boston and neighboring communities and to arouse interest among our audience, who may not be familiar with our songs.
Our repertoire covers a wide range of music such as traditional Chinese songs, European classical religious hymns, Broadway musicals, Taiwanese aboriginal pieces, contemporary Chinese arrangements, and popular music.
Rehearsals take place on Friday nights at 65 Binney St (corner of Second St.), Cambridge, Level 2, Relief Society Room from 7pm-9pm during the school year.
Auditions take place around the beginning of the semester, typically in late January and August. Please email us at email@example.com if you would like more information.
Our 2018 Winter concert, “Ancient Poetry, New Melodies” took place on Saturday, December 15, at Harvard-Epworth United Methodist Church. Read about our winter concert
